Last updated: March 3, 2026
Kipi is committed to the safety and protection of children. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) content and behavior on our platform.
1. Definition of CSAE
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) includes, but is not limited to:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual depiction (image, video, or digitally generated content) of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor.
- Grooming: Behavior intended to build trust with a minor for the purpose of sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Sextortion: Coercing or blackmailing a minor using real or alleged sexual imagery.
- Sex trafficking of minors: Recruiting, harboring, or transporting a minor for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation.
- Sexualization of minors: Any content that sexualizes or depicts minors in a sexually suggestive manner, even if not explicitly sexual.
2. Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following are strictly prohibited on Kipi:
- Sharing, soliciting, or distributing CSAM or any sexual content involving minors
- Engaging in grooming behavior toward minors
- Soliciting sexual contact, images, or videos from minors
- Sharing content that sexualizes or exploits minors in any way
- Using rooms, comments, diary entries, or any feature to facilitate CSAE
- Attempting to circumvent safety measures designed to protect children
Violations are not limited to content posted publicly — private interactions, room activity, and any other use of Kipi's features are subject to this policy.
3. Reporting
If you encounter content or behavior that may constitute CSAE on Kipi, please report it immediately:
- In-app: Use the report feature available on any content or profile within the App.
- Contact form: Submit a report
All reports are reviewed promptly and treated with the utmost seriousness.
4. Enforcement
When we identify or receive a report of potential CSAE content or behavior, we will:
- Immediately remove the offending content
- Disable the account of the offending user
- Preserve evidence as required by applicable law
- Permanently ban users confirmed to have violated this policy
We do not provide prior notice before taking enforcement action on CSAE violations.
5. NCMEC and Law Enforcement Cooperation
We are committed to reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, as required by U.S. federal law.
We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies investigating CSAE, including providing relevant data pursuant to valid legal process.
6. Child Safety Contact
For child safety concerns related to Kipi, including inquiries from Google Play, law enforcement, or external organizations:
